The Land Facilities and Natural Resources Division of the DPW has a vacancy for a Tree Worker. The primary responsibility of this position will be to perform tree work including climbing, use of a bucket truck, brush chipper, stump grinder, chainsaws, and other related machinery. The candidate we seek must have a Class B CDL with air brake and must have, or obtain within ninety days an Electrical Hazard Training Certificate, as well as, a Commonwealth of Massachusetts Pesticide Applicators License, and a Qualified Line  Clearance Arborist Certificate. Secondary duties will include trash pickup, snow plowing/salting, and walkway shoveling as directed, along with other duties as assigned. In addition, candidates must have a minimum of a high school degree and three years of applicable experience.

Starting Salary $21.2043 per hour
