Tree Preservation Experts have experience, interest, and ability in the following areas
- Advanced climbing and rigging techniques
- Advanced pruning techniques
- Cable, bracing, and through rod installation
- Fine hand pruning
- Ornamental tree artistry
- Soil science
- Compost tea brewing
- Soil remediation
- Disease and Insect diagnosis and treatment protocols
- Advanced IPM techniques and applications
- Heavy equipment operation including mini-skids steers, tracked lift, bucket truck, mini-excavators, air spade, chippers, Plant Health Care systems etc.
- Installation of specimen trees and shrubs
- Able to lift 50 lbs, work outside in all weather conditions, have a valid driver's license, work in a drug free workplace
Qualifications
- Industry experience 5 plus years
- A college degree in a related field including biology, arboriculture, urban forestry, environmental studies, or related equivalent professional development and experience.
- Life long learner
- Industry qualifications or the desire to earn them including
- Massachusetts Certified Arborist (MCA)
- International Certified Arborist (ISA)
- Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP)
- Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional (MCLP)
- Commercial Driver License (CDL class B)
- Massachusetts Hoisting License 1C 2A
- Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator license
- Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ)
