Town of Walpole is seeking applicants for a full-time, 40hrs/week Special Motor Equipment Operator in the Parks Department. Must be a high school graduate with two years of training- technical school or on-the-job equivalent; Two years of experience in the operation of heavy automotive equipment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of Class A operator's license issued by the Registry of Motor Vehicles. Possession of Special License issued by the State Department of Public Safety to operate automotive or hoisting equipment, street sweepers, backhoes, and front-end loaders owned by the town and assigned to the Department of Public Works. Special Qualifications: Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator's License required (must be obtained within 6 months of appointment}.
