Hollandia Nurseries, a Premiere Nursery, Grower, and vendor of plants and nursery stock material of 58 years is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic person as our PERENNIAL SALES ASSOCIATE in Bethel Connecticut. This is an exciting opportunity for someone capable of handling all aspects of propagation, insect control, general care of Perennial plant material, with strong customer service and sales skills in a Horticulture environment.

Job Duties INCLUDE:
Responsible for transplanting, maintenance and managing the environment for healthy growing plants, as well as working with customer selling our Perennials.
• Ability to speak with customers and assist them with perennial plant selections
• Ensuring plants are well maintained both with feeding and watering
• Managing general staff in the growing department
• Assisting with IPM program for all plants
• Weekend Ability

Qualifications:
• A passion for farming and love for plants
• English speaking a must
• Meticulous and high level of attention to detail
• Communicates well with the team
• Able to adapt quickly to fast growth and change in processes
• Able to multitask & problem solve
• Follow through attitude to find resolutions
• Works well independently and collaboratively
