2018 HEADS OR TAILS RAFFLE BENEFITS THE TREE FUND
November 5, 2018, Mystic, Connecticut. The New England Chapter ISA ran its second-annual Heads or Tails Raffle to benefit the TREE Fund at their recent Annual Conference and Trade Show during a reception at the Mystic Aquarium on Monday evening.
What is a heads or tails raffle? All participants purchased a bandana for just $10. At the outset of the raffle, participants had to decide if they would wear their bandana on their head or on their 'tail' (tucked in a back pocket). When the raffle began, Jeff Carney, past TREE Fund Liaison and emcee extraordinaire, flipped a coin and when it landed on heads, all those that had their bandana on their head stayed in the game for another round. Bandanas were adjusted, the coin was flipped and participants were disqualified until one person was left standing.
The winner, Kevin Brewer of Arborjet won the coveted Sena Blue Tooth Communication Device and a Petzl Vertex Climbing Helmet generously donated by conference exhibitor and sponsor, Shelter Tree Care Products!
The raffle raised $600 to benefit the TREE Fund! Thank you to Shelter Tree Care Products for donating the prize and to all that participated in this fun, new raffle!
