Introduction
Since 1990, the New England Chapter, International Society of Arboriculture has awarded scholarships to students pursuing an education in fields of study dedicated to arboriculture, urban forestry, and related fields. The purpose of the awards is threefold: to help promote interest in shade and ornamental trees, to recognize scholarly endeavors, and to assist in financial aid.
Each year, the New England Chapter grants two scholarship awards of $2,500. The Chapter encourages recipients of our scholarship to be involved within the profession of arboriculture. The recipients are also provided with a full annual conference registration, one night lodging, and two complimentary banquet tickets for an accompanying guest.
