A brownfield is a property, the expansion, redevelopment, or reuse of which may be complicated by the presence or potential presence of a hazardous substance, pollutant, or contaminant. These conditions can present unique challenges for stormwater management and green infrastructure implementation. In this webcast, Ann Carrol and Aimee Storm from EPA’s Office of Brownfields and Land Revitalization and Anna Withrow from the West Virginia Water Research Institute will discuss the role green infrastructure can play in transforming brownfield sites.
