NHTOA's 109th Annual Meeting: A Virtual Event

Extraordinary times call for extraordinary flexibility. The New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association, with attention on the health and safety of NHTOA members and their families, will convene this year's 109th Annual Meeting as a "virtual" event. Participants will be able to join the meeting either by video or telephone conference call.

Details of the meeting, which will be held on Saturday, June 13, beginning at 9 a.m., will be mailed to all NHTOA members on Friday, May 22. The packet will include the 2019 Annual Report, information about this year's award winners and honorees, and instructions on how to participate in the meeting.

"We've never done something like this in the NHTOA's 109-year history, but we've never experienced a pandemic like COVID-19 before," said NHTOA executive director Jasen Stock. "The virtual format is a way to accomplish the necessary business of our Annual Meeting and also to connect with one another, which has always been one of the benefits of NHTOA membership."

Provided that local and federal health authorities say it's safe to do so, the NHTOA is planning to hold a social event later in the fall for members to gather and to acknowledge our award winners and honorees. Watch the NHTOA website and social media (Facebook) for announcements and information.

Next year's annual meeting will be held at historic Sanborn Mills Farm in Loudon, N.H., the original location for this year's meeting.
