Spotted Lanternfly Recently Detected in New England States

Signs of the exotic invasive insect Spotted Lanternfly (SLF) were detected in September 2020 in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. A detection does not mean that an established population has been found. For some states, this follows earlier detections of SLF.
